Fees listed are based on scheduled classes, include lab charges and all materials needed to complete the projects. Additional materials are available for purchase. In glass fusing classes, each student has the use of their own kiln.
GLASS Classes in Our Studio:
Fundamentals of Glass Fusing - 8 Hours
No Prerequisite:
This class requires no previous experience. Even those with experience may pick up a tip or two. Studio Safety, Terminology, tools and their uses, Cutting Techniques for Fusing, basic fusing process, basic grinding (Cold Working) and Fire Polishing will be covered. This class is designed to teach you the fundamentals you wanted to know about fusing. Students will complete basic fusing projects, cabochons (basic jewelry component for pendants) or tiles. Please wear cotton clothing and closed toed shoes.

Glass Slumping & Casting
Dichroic Glass Fusing for Jewelry I - 12 Hours
Prerequisite: Fundamentals of Glass Fusing or waiver
This class expands on the skills learned in the fundamentals class to create one-of-a-kind Dichroic Jewelry Components such as Pendants, Beads, Earrings, Pins, or whatever your imagination can dream up (with in the limits of the class). Topics covered will be cutting, stacking and shaping cabochons, fused bead making, earring techniques, colors and textures, and the basics of dichroic theory. Students will be shown how these items can be mounted into finished jewelry pieces. Please wear cotton clothing and closed toed shoes.

Duplication is eliminated in a intense 2 Day class. Please wear cotton clothing and closed toed shoes.

This class uses the skills learned in the fundamentals class to expand a students knowledge of fusing glass into Small Bowls, Plates, Sun Catchers, Paper Weights, and Decorative Pieces using commercially available Molds or learn how to make your own mold. Please wear cotton clothing and closed toed shoes.
